Ribeira Grande, São Miguel 20 -30 March 2025

Imagine a place where nature paints on the purest canvas, where the salt laden wind meets steep volcanic slopes and the ocean is a continuous spectacle of strength and freedom.

This place is Ribeira Grande, the beating heart of the island of São Miguel in the Azores- a land of sea, surf and Atlantic culture.

SARGO places Ribeira Grande in the centre of a global dialogue about art, sustainability and the power of local culture.

S U R F

SARGO is born from this natural and cultural symbiosis.

In this event surf - the authentic expression of the communion between human being and ocean - meets urban art, a channel of uninhibited creative freedom. Together this transforms the landscape of Ribeira Grande into a truly open air gallery with nature as its backdrop.

This event represents the perfect balance of tradition and modernity. It links the ancestral stories of the Azores with future projects, attracting artists, athletes, tourists and investors from all over the world.
